ARTIST STATEMENT

In my artwork, I am fascinated by people—their lives and experiences, emotions, relationships, rituals, moments of loneliness and moments of joy. I often capture these emotions minimally, with a few brushstrokes of ink. Sometimes, color punctuates and sometimes it dominates.

I love for my work to tell a story—of people in love, joyous people, quietly thoughtful people, or loving family relationships.
